The popularity of online gaming was initially sparked by EverQuest. It is the first commercial MMORPG to be set in a fully 3D-rendered environment. The amazing scope and classical fantasy theme of EverQuest launched its rating beyond those of even Ultima online. An Ultima online is popular online game which was based upon the single-player Ultima titles. EverQuest dominated the online gaming market for several years. Initially, monthly subscription fees and numerous expansion packs brought unexpected profits for the parent company, Sony online Entertainment. It continues to prosper even today, as it has fallen somewhat behind its competitors in recent years.
The only setback to the constantly evolving technology for online games is that what users buy today might become obsolete in next year. Playing online game is the best entertainment option. Growing broadband Internet services have made playing online games possible in true sense.
